Opening Hearts and Minds Through Performing Arts
A Mind Apart is dedicated to presenting performance and theatrical opportunities that are an integral part of the participants learning experience.
This is done with the belief that everybody should be able to participate in and have access to performance regardless of race, religion, gender, ability, or financial status. This teaching is given in an environment where performance and theatre is used to challenge, teach and encourage the participants to become motivated in all areas of their lives. A Mind Apart work towards teaching, inspiring, encouraging and motivating participants in all social and individual areas of life giving them positive life-long memories and experiences of performing arts and theatre.
We are looking for freelance performing artists. We specifically need individuals who can teach singing, dancing and acting. You must have experience of teaching young people not attending school. Teaching qualification preferred (doesn't have to be PGCE can be PTTLS, CTTLS or DTTLS or equivalent), but will look at individuals who don't have it.
